Dear Prince Security Services,

I am pleased to learn that a position as Special Police Officer has become available. I am a recent graduate of Bowie State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice. As a recent college graduate, I am the best candidate for providing security and protection for the people and the buildings within the Prince Security Services. I understand that this will be done through patrolling areas around the university, responding to emergencies, and preparing reports for daily activities and for any incidents occurring on the shift. I am committed to the safekeeping and control of the assigned areas and the enforcement of regulations. I have in the past, and will in the future work to ensure a safe environment and enhancing the quality of life consistent with the values of integrity, respect, and professionalism.

In regards to this job’s qualifications, I learn quickly, work well in a fast-paced environments, possess superb critical thinking and observation skills, and multi-task effectively. Additionally, my ability to adapt to any given situation and strong interpersonal skills make me a great addition to your department. My background in community service and engagement has given me the chance to learn effective communication skills with a vast variety of individuals and find ways to improve the effectiveness of future activities.
